Hello Experts,
My current CRS score is 1058 and I am still awaiting for my ITA from OINP, hoping to hear back from them soon.
Having said that, can I apply for Medical and Police Clearance Certificates even before obtaining my ITA ?
Please suggest.
Thank you.

PCC - Yes. if you have stayed in other country more than 6 month in a row, get PCC for that country as well.

Medical that you get before IRCC asks to do it is called as upfront medical. See if that is possible in your country. It is advisable to do it 1 week before e-apr as medical should be valid until you land.

Thank you.
We were staying in USA for 6 years before moving out to India (my current location). If I am not wrong, I need to get PCC for both India and USA (FBI PCC) as well, right ? Furthermore, should I get both (INDIA & FBI) PCC for my spouse as well ?
Thanks again.

Yes required for India and US. As you are in US, for India, need to apply from outside the country.
Required for both applicants.

Review this document end to end.

Hi ,
According to the website, it is mentioned "Don’t get your medical exam as soon as you get your invitation to apply" and submit Letter of explanation instead.
Has anyone done it yet. So confused whether to go for medicals or not. Please advise.

Hi @Divyaravindran , Could you please provide the list of documents to be submitted for PCC in India @ Passport center. Just to reconfirm, can I apply for Police Clearance Certificates even before obtaining my ITA ?
Thank you.

They require your original passport, your present address proof, preferably Aadhaar card and self attested copied of the same.
I was also asked for marriage certificate as my spouse name was not added in passport.

You may apply for PCC before ITA also. It is generally valid for 6 months, so if you are sure to obtain an ITA in the coming weeks, you may go fot it

It is up to you. If you are in India panel physicians are not doing upfront tests. If you are outside, as normally done do it 1 week before submission.
