Can I apply for Canadian passport and OCI card while in India.?

Hi I applied for Canadian citizenship in February 2023 and than i came back to my home country. Now i got invitation for citizenship test. My question is if I take my citizenship oath in India ( which might be possible as IRCC pushing for self administered oath from June 2023) than I will become a canadian citizen while in India. Here is the tricky part ,what will be my status in India than? Will i be in conflict with any rules as India doesn't allow dual citizenship and i will have no visa till i get my canadian passport.
I would really appreciate if someone can share their own experience. Thanks you all may God help you all to achieve your dreams

There still isn’t a guarantee that you won’t have to be in Canada for the oath. Would assume that you’ll need to return to Canada unless otherwise specified.
