Can I apply for Bridge work permit without R10 completeness check?

My work permit is expiring soon so I was wondering if I could apply for bridge work permit with R10 completeness check?

I read someone saying their bridge work permit application was rejected without R10 completeness check. Also, the IRCC website says the completeness check must be done. I am worried as my work permit is expiring next month.
