Can I Apply for Both CEC and MPNP??

Hi,

I have applied under CEC class on Dec 4th. Waiting for AOR number for that..

I recently got LOA from MPNP. Please let me know if I can apply under Provincial nominee program as well??

Will they return both my applications once they came to know that I have applied under 2 categories??

Also Is it fine to submit copies of my PCC when applying for MPNP?? I will write a cover letter stating that I have sent my original copies when applying for CEC..

Experts plzz help..

You can apply for both
Make sure for Pcc you send originals and not copies - I believe it can be the same report

I will also mention that incase if officer is not satisfied then I am ready to submit the original copies of PCC.

if you had your originals scanned . then if you printed it , it wouldn't have been even noticeable , and what they need is the number on pcc, to cross check on their database which is linked with most countries , orelse people will be forging pcc all time , hope it makes sense , same with English test results sheet , thats why now they request copies for that recently

Actually some PCCs are watermarked and/or have foil embossed markers which is a security thing.

If both programs request original certificates then I honestly would do that -PCCs are very important and it's best not to try to skirt around the request

i guess yr right IPC19800 ,
if you were sure of the cec application , then dont see point in applying mpnp , cause you will be submitting the same info as in cec , its good if you have nomination certificate as backup, if there some screw up in your cec app, then u can apply with yr nominee cert, plus whats the point in paying another 500 bucks before any screw up in yr cec app , plus you wont have reapply for same pcc , which you had submitted with yr cec app

I would suggest to apply for a fresh PCC and include with the application. I wouldn't create any complications with my application.

Yes, since you don't have AOR for your CEC application, I don't think CIC will be able to look your CEC file.

Because they request originals!
Do you really think a Visa Officer is going to take the time to check if a PCC reference number is valid or not?
They request originals for a reason / not because they feel like it

I have submitted the federal application under CEC on Dec 2nd and waiting for AOR.

Also my MPNP nomination is valid till June 2014. Shall I apply to MPNP in june 2014 after the checking the status of my CEC application during that time?
What is the best way to do now?
