Can I amend the ECA Issue Date

In my EE profile submitted recently, by mistake I typed in the wrong ECA Issue-Date (the report was issued more than two years ago). I have now received an ITA. Is it ok to correct the Issue-Date in the post ITA application? Do I need to provide a Letter of Explanation? I hope this will not be treated as misrepresentation.
