can GED diploma be used for PR/WP application

hello... can anyone confirm if GED diploma is valid for applying in Canadian immigration? If so, does it need to be assessed (ECA) with WES? Or do you send the GED diploma and transcript as it is?

GED diploma is equivalent to Canadian high school which can be used for college application or job offers but I cant find anything whether its valid for applying in Canadian immigration.

What stream do you intend to apply for immigration with only a high school diploma? I am not aware of any streams that require less than a college degree and some years work experience in your chosen field.

The only exception is spousal sponsorship, but that does not require any educational certifications.

If you wish to apply for a study permit to go to college in Canada then your diploma is valid as long as the college you apply to will accept it as valid.
