I want to ask about the application of Canda Express Entry. I was studying in Malaysia and after completing my studies I applied for student visa extension for my Ph.D. and a gave my passport to an agent. The agent cheated me and didn't make my visa. I overstayed in Malaysia for around 6 months, after struggling a lot, I got the passport back without the visa from the agent. I went to the Malaysian immigration and talk about the situation what has happened to me, they asked me a minimal fee and applied for a special pass 15 days visa to exit Malaysia and come back to India, but I have got a special pass stamp on my passport and there they have banned me from entering Malaysia for 5 years. Can I apply for Canada PR with this?

Need your suggestion for applying for Canada Express Entry, Weather I should apply or change the passport.
Will I get the Canada Express Entry?

Fyi Raja, that story sounds unconvincing. I'd rather come up with a better one to explain to IRCC. If it's true, hopefully there's a paper trail somewhere to back it up.

Can I apply and get Canada Express Entry?
Yes, you can apply. Whether you are granted PR depends on a lot of factors, including the results of background checks
However, PR processing is different from that used to assess applicants for a TRV to Canada.
It's probably safe to say that you would not be granted a TRV because of the issue in Malaysia but there is no real reason to believe that the issue would seriously impact a PR application.

The ban/deportation from Malaysia will not affect a PR app. However, lying about the Malaysian ban/deportation can and likely will result in refusal and a ban from Canada.

Hi Guys need more suggestions
Your question has already been answered. Provided you are 100% honest about your immigration history in your application, it won't be a problem for immigrating to Canada.
