Can Dependent work under Skilled Worker visa class?

Hello,

I am applying for Skilled Worker Class. I am on H1b and my wife is on H4 Visa. Is it possible for her to work in canada after I get the Visa in canada?

If you apply for PR for canada with your wife or any family member and if approved, they wont be your dependent. They'are PR in canada and have full right to work. It's not a visa! It's PR!

Thank You - My questions is, First we will get visa right? PR is only after 2 years I guess?

u will get PR visa and COPR after decision is made, which enables u to go there
after u go there, u will get yr PR card in 30 days mailed to u,
u can start working anytime after u find a job

There's no going to Canada and then waiting 2 years for PR.

First you apply for PR for you and your wife. When you get the PR visa (could take a year), you can go to Canada right away as a PR or you can delay it a bit, but not too long.
