Hi everyone,
This question is about how best to satisfy the low income cut-off (LICO) requirement when writing the invitation letter:
My brother and I are Canadian citizens and would like to sponsor our 4 family members to Canada for a month long family reunion and vacation.
The home country is Vietnam and the family members include: my sister, my brother, my brother and his wife, all of whom are in their 50's and 60's.
Since I (and my wife) do not have sufficient income to sponsor all 4 relatives, I am asking my Canadian brother for help.
1) Can my Canadian brother and I co-sign an invitation letter?
2) If we need 2 separate letters, should we only list the names of relatives that we're able to sponsor individually, or should we list all 4 Vietnamese relative's names in each letter?
* To satisfy the low income cut-off requirement for all 4 relatives, I would need to pool my income, my wife's income, and my Canadian brother's income.
Ideally, we'd like to submit applications for all 4 relatives together and at the same time.
Thank you
