Apart from giving you an opportunity to work in the field, some in-job experience, and money, I can't think of much..
 
Money,, field experience,, helps u to get professional job after studies,, so yeah its really important

have at least one year of full-time (or equivalent) skilled work experience in Canada within the last three years before you apply (academic internships, co-op placements and part-time work during your studies do not count),

I was not being sarcastic. I was just asking you a question.

I was giving you the benefit of doubt that maybe there is some program that counts co-op experience which I am not aware of.

Continuous co-op work experience for 1 year or more used to count towards PR before, not anymore.
