Hi,

I am planning to get the reference letter from my employer(s), but I don't know the exact format. As I haven't filled my online profile yet, I don't know whether it is available there. In case, if anyone can share a sample letter which was accepted by CIC would be helpful.

Thanks a ton.

Written on company letterhead,
· Signed by responsible officer/supervisor,
· Have the printed name and title of the responsible officer/supervisor beneath the signature,
· Show the company`s full address, telephone and fax numbers, e-mail and website addresses,
· Stamped with the company`s official seal (if applicable)

Letters must include all of the following information:

· The specific period of your employment with the company,
· The position you have held during the period of employment and the time spent in each position,
· Your main responsibilities and duties in each position,
· Your total annual salary plus benefits, (must include your salary)
· The number of hours worked per week. (must include your no of work hours per week)

Try this link. it has a few format and each of them looks good. Hope it helps.

My letter doesn't have the word permanent as my job was not permeates. ... It states full time contract of 37 hours a week. Will that suffice?

Yes. Assuming that this isn't an LMIA supported job offer.
