Hello guys,

I am new in here and I'd like to ask a question regarding the delay of application for PGWP.

I got a friend who finished study in college in April this year. But carelessly, he didn't apply for PGWP before going back to the country. Right now, he came back and just realized that he passed the time. By any chance, he could apply for PGWP still, or there is some other alternative for him?

Thanks guys, I will be very appreciated for your help.

It's too late for you to apply for a PGWP since the 90 day window has passed.

If you want to remain in Canada and work, you will have to find an employer who is willing to offer you a full time job and who can also obtain an approved LMIA. You will then have to apply for a closed work permit. Once the closed work permit has been approved, you will be able to start working.

So the first step is to find an employer.

Thank you for the reply. But as we all know that it is very difficult to find an employer, even for canadians. Also, the employer must do efforts to prove to the government that he really wants my friend, instead of a canadian or immigrant. Sad.....
