Sir ragluf if I'm not mistaken pinoy po kayo right? I'm confused coz I read in other forum that the pilot project for food counter attendant is closed...are they talking about the cap or the program itself?
Yes I am.
As to the pilot project - this is why I directed you to look at the Alberta Immigration site. http://www.albertacanada.com/opportunity/immigrating/ainp.aspx
Reading through there - I do not see anything now that says it is closed. In fact - it is still accepting applications.

What has changed was the increased allocation initiative per restaurant (for employers) - which has been removed. http://www.albertacanada.com/opportunity/immigrating/ainp-news.aspx

Applications received between 9/13/2013 - 11/28/2013 will be reviewed under the increased allocation initiative guidelines. Under that initiative, the employer was allowed to nominate up to 20% of the workers. Now with the removal of that initiative, it affects the employers more (restrictions on allocations for nominations) rather than applicants - back to only one allocation per restaurant. So if the employer has used up the allowed allocations, then they cannot nominate any additional worker.
