Work Experience in Canada
For the principal applicant:
• copy of your most recent work permit,
• copies of your most recent T4 tax information slips and your Notice of Assessment issued by Canada Revenue
Agency,
• up-to-date letters of reference from your past and current employers for the past 3 years.
Letters must be:
• written on company letterhead,
• signed by the responsible officer/supervisor,
• have the printed name and title of the responsible officer/supervisor beneath the signature,
• show the company's full address, telephone and fax numbers, e-mail and website addresses, • stamped with the company's official seal (if applicable).
Letters must include all of the following information:
• the specific period of your employment with the company,
• the positions you have held during the period of employment and the time spent in each position,
• your main responsibilities and duties in each position,
• your total annual salary plus benefits,
• the number of hours worked per week.
Additional supporting documents may include:
• copies of work contracts,
• copies of pay stubs.
Applicants who are authorized to work in Canada without a work permit are eligible to apply under the Canadian Experience Class, but must provide documentation with their application establishing that they had legal temporary status in Canada during their period of qualifying work experience (e.g. copy of a visitor record).

Not sure about the authorised to work in Canada without a work permit. I am not aware what are the other options do they have without a work permit. I never bothered about this clause as I had a valid work permit.

May be someone in this forum could help. I am sorry

I believe open work permit cases fall under this category. Those applicants enter as visitors under spouse ICT/LMO work permits and later obtain an open work permit which is not tied to any employer.

It is related to those who do not need a work permit, exactly as it says. There are several occupations which do not require one. It is not relevant to open or close work permit holders or occupations requiring work permit.

Where can we find those occupation list?

Here you go

cic.gc.ca/english/work/apply-who-nopermit.asp~~~~

There are a few cases where you don't need a work permit to work in Canada.

Either you work a job that doesn't require one, or you could have been under implied status for a while waiting for a new permit while your old one expires (you'd have a gap in the dates of your permits, but you still had legal status). In which case, you'd need to provide whatever proof you can that you did have a legal claim to be working without a permit (proof you were working a non-WP job, or that you'd filed an application for a WP before the previous one expired).

All pgwp holders receive OWP so it not only limited to the above mentioned categories.

That's correct. Nicole, this is not applicable to pgwp holders
