I am a PR application of the protected person category. It has been 17 months and there is no news so far, so I inquired about the information from CBSA:

Bro, what's your timeline? Where are you now? I don’t know why ircc is suppressing my application and not processing it! ! ! It's really not easy for us as protected persons.

Why do you think they are suppressing it? Your timeline is similar to others applying. You are just waiting for processing to be complete like others who have applied for PR. Around 2 years is approximate processing time these days.

my friend applied in July 2021 and gave medical on June 2022 since then no update. cic profile shows 79% lol increases like 1% after 10 days.
