APPLICATION SUBMITTED-6 SEPTEMBER
BIOMETRIC ALREDY IN FILE
REVIEW STARTED - 21 SEPTEMBER
Still wailing no response.
Have valid US visa and are currently in USA

My daughter's visa - Delhi
Has US visa B2 visit visa and has travelled to US in 2019
Has Canada visit visa (expiring in Sep'2023) - visited Canada in 2019
My son a Canadian citizen has invited her and she plans to visit Canada in October 2023
Applied on 30th August 2022 & Biometrics on 2nd Sept ' 2022
No updates till 7th October 2022 but late night 7th October received an intimation of her visa approval and passport request letter
This one quick and hope it helps other's too in CAN+ category

Thank you for sharing. this clears up a lot of confusion regarding applying early while you have a valid permit.

I have just a couple of questions; did she write a cover later for applying 1 year before her visa expiry ? did she have a new paasport when she applied?

yes, she wrote a covering letter stating that though she has a valid Canada visa but it is expiring in September 2023, whereas she plans to visit Canada in October 2023. She also informed that she is applying almost 1 year in advance as she does not want to be disappointed due to delays in visa processing.
Yes she has a new passport which was issued to her in 2022 and expiring in 2032.
