Hi All,

I just got my USA B1/B2 visa got renewed 2nd time and in the past I have travelled twice and each trip was less then a month or so. I am currently in process of applying for canada visit visa. I went to IRCC portal and provided all the details along with my valid USA visa number and travel history and at the last page its asking 'US Visa copy", "Identification doc" and "Passport copy" as supporting documents. I have heard bank statement or financial proof is not required in Can+ so should I provide bank statements or not as I am attaching my employer's letter in which my job period is mentioned along with my total gross annual income. (i work in a top bank).

yes I mentioned how much CAD I am gonna bring with me. I also have invitation letter from my real brother in law (my sister's husband) as my sister and brother are Canadian citizen so they sent me the invitation letter along with their tax return document as they mentioned that they will bare all my expenses there including meals, boarding and lodging. So there is no need to submit bank statements right?

I would suggest you show your own financial documents, be specific about the period you'll stay in Canada, where you will stay, and what you'll do. If you're working a cushy job (in a top bank, as you said), stating your brother/sister will bear your expenses is not good. State you will stay with them and attach your financial statements to show that you can afford the flight tickets and all the expenses during your stay in Canada.

But in supporting documents I was never asked to submit financial statements so thats why I am confused. They asked me only US Visa, Identity doc & Passports

add your financial docs in "Other documents" section.
Better to provide your OWN funds and show ties to country in this section.

CAN+ will not help you getting a visa. You still need to convince the officer that you are a genuine visitor with intention to leave at end of your trip. For that you need to show your ties, job, family, social, funds, properties etc.

In practice, there is no difference in CAN+ vs regular application. They will not ask you for funds, but will reject you will no ties are shown. Also there will be no difference in processing time.
