Can an international student in Canada visit the U.S?

Hello everyone,

I'm an international student from Vietnam and currently in Canada Edmonton, I want to visit the U.S. Can you guy help me where I can find most accurate info about this and what I need to know?

As yesternight, I tried to find some info about this and I know that I have to apply for a visitor visa and have to pay $160 fee? Is that correct?

And if anyone has been through this before, can you tell me how long does it usually take to receive the visa?

Yes its very simple.. I am also in toronto... You just need your school enrolment letter, transcript , clear credit , and fee for us visa. Thn u need to book a date for interview..

So there's this "appointment wait time", and it's 9 days in Calgary. What does that mean? Does that mean that I need to wait 9 days before booking for an appointment?

Once you are done in interview. Immediately the officer will tell you whether you are approve or not. Then they will collect your passport and you'll get it by post in 5-7 days. Good luck!
