My wife and I both received letters of introduction for our work permits. She has an open work permit, and I have a closed work permit with a specific employer. The guidance definitely seems to indicate my travel to Canada would be deemed essential, but I do not know about hers. Has anyone had luck trying to travel to Canada with their spouse? Are there any airlines who will/will not let you board?
Can a spouse (with OWP) currently travel to Canada with her husband (closed work permit)?

As far as I know you need to go Canada and get work permit than write email to get travel exemption for family. My representative said if your family say she is moving canada for stay with you it will be essential for her. But I couldnt find solution to go together If you find any please let me know
Don’t agree that family reunification is considered essential but you can try. A job offer seems to be one of the ways to secure permission to travel.
