Can a spouse with a visitor visa come with the Main applicant who has a study permit?

I wanted to know that can a spouse with a visitor visa come with the main applicant who has a study permit?

They certainly can however note that on visitors visa they will not be allowed to work and will have to stay for a temporary duration as per visit visa conditions and depending on what CBSA officer allows...usually its 6 months...

Eventhough the website states that your family can travel with you, when you get to the airport the border service person will not grant access to your fam on a visitor's visa. They will say they're travel is not essential.....this is from experience.

During these Covid times yes you are probably correct hence i applied for my spouse OWP and kids study permits

My friend didn't know this and applied for a Visitor Visa for his spouse.
