Can a sponsor enter Canada separately from the applicant?

Hi,
As a Canadian citizen living abroad, I am currently applying to sponsor my husband in the family class for permanent residency.
I have received SA (in December 2014) and we are awaiting confirmation of his visa from the Canadian Embassy in London.
Our original intention was to move from Scotland (where we currently live with our two kids, both Canadians) in June of 2015.
It looks likely that my husband may be offered a job in Canada shortly with a company who would like him to start by the end of April 2015.
Since our oldest son is in school, we would prefer he finish the academic year in June 2015 before moving.
Is it a problem if my husband (the applicant) enters Canada in April 2015 whilst I (his sponsor) follow on at the end of June 2015 with our family?
Thanks for any information,
Lynda

I'm maybe picking this up incorrectly from your post but if your husband hasn't received his COPR yet he cannot work in Canada. Given you only received your SA in December (unless your one of the super quick lucky ones!) its doubtful he will receive his COPR by next month given some of the recent posts I've read on the London thread. If he's going to come to Canada in April with the intention of 'moving' before he has his COPR he may well run into issues with the CBSA and could be refused entry. This will be even more likely if he tells them he's going to be working.

I agree unless you are one of the lucky ones your husband won't get PR by June never mind next month . Your husband can not work unless he has his Corp then he will land and have to apply for his Sin# for him to be able to work . Have a look at the London spreadsheet to give you an idea of the timeframe. Unless your application is being processed in Mississauga he wont be here by next month .
Answer to your question yes your husband the applicant can land without you . Have you checked your status to see if it is in process .
