I have a property which is on my wife's name. Can I show it in non-liquid assets. If yes, what are the documents I need to show?

Please suggest?

Dear Rajjan,

Yes, you can show your property value certificate. You can make the property value certificate by finding the value of the property from an architect who is registered. I also submitted my wife's apartments' value certificate :)I m Pakistani.

Yes, by all means you can show property in your wife's name as your as non-liquid asset.

But if you are showing it as "proof of funds," property is not considered liquid asset unless you show a sale certificate or agreement. So when you are granted PR, you will either have to show that you are selling it for some amount of money that you are going to take to Canada as survival funds.

I hope this helps. Good luck.
