Hi Amar,
im in a fix. being a central govt employee my partner cant get a reference letter. could you tell me what have you provided as reference letter to support your work experience? also, i have worked in canada for a year in 2013-2014. so i came across two confusing questions....FSW asks for canadian experience in the pas three years in the main application. and in the general crs points calculator, it was 10 years.....so it 3 years or 10 years?
for foreign work experience, you get maximum points for 3 years of work. Canadian work exp is another question, that gives you additional points if you have any Canadian exp. for Indian FSW applicants, who have not worked in Canada, 3 years are max you can select

Hi everyone
Seeking your advice…
My husband is the Primary Applicant and has received PNP. On receipt of ITA will I have to furnish a No Objection Certificate? I am a state government employee

Hi all,
I got my COPR in CEC category. I applied for all family, so everyone got copr, now everyone needs to land in Canada in next one month. My wife is a teacher in Punjab school education board and she is not getting her leave approved. Any one who went through similar situations? I want to mention here that my wife wants to continue with job for few more years, therefore she is coming to canada for three weeks only.
please share your experience if any.
Hlo how did you get over the situation ,does the leave approved for your wife?

I am in a similar situation. I am a Canadian PR and my wife is in State Government. For Police Clearance Certificate she requires NOC from her department which they don't give. So only way I can bring her to Canada is she will have to resign. Which we don't want as we don't know how long we might stay in Canada, what might be the situation in future. It's like a check mate situation for us.

i am a govt employee too in punjab... ircc dont ask u for NOC from govt. and i havn't come accross anywhere that govt employees cannot apply for PR. moreover few of my known people have got PR being in govt service.NOC is required for ex india leave, that too is not that much mandatory.
i dont think that we cannot apply for PR. few months back my frine dgot his PR on spouse basis being in govt service. earlier too i have seen people getting PR.

Did you appy for PR.? Resigned from your job.? As a govt employee, I applied for a PCC and the police officer asked for NOC from the department
But if you mention in your application that you are a Government employee the NOC (No objection certificate) is required if you apply for a Police clearence certificate in the passport office.

hello. at that time in 2017, i got PCC from local police office in Punjab. I dint take it from Passport office. Passport office might ask for NOC but local office did not ask in 2017. dont know if things have changed since then. State government departments work a little differently as well then the center departments.
