Hi

You can propbly know my intentions from the subject, but just like they say, Never judge a book by it's cover, I'm a 19 year old with avery high G.P.A in secondry school, and I've tested my IELTS about 6 or so months ago, and I've scored 6 on the acadamic, my intentions of studying abroad were very clear, my goal was to get a scholarship from the country, and I've made every effort to get accepted, but that didn't happen because of hate towards my religious, and how do I know that, well none of my fellows got accepted even though our qualifications are much higher than those who got qualified, and by fellows I mean every single applicant that shares the same religious as myself, initially I had my sight set on the US , but now after that final blow I'm not only looking for education and a possiblity of immigration, I'm looking for a degree and a permenant residency, and I've found that canada is much easier than the US, so my plan now is to elevate my IELTS score to 6.5, and to start applying for canidian universities, however I've couple of questions that I hope you guys can help me with.
First of all, what state do you guys recommend..?,Especially because I need to have a part time job to feed my self while my father will take care of the university fees.
Second, what jobs are in demand in canada..?, I've alot of love towards engineering but I might not be able pay the fees of an engineering program, so I'm thinking about mental health or even medical science, but I don't know what my chances of getting a job in the future.
Third, can I in any possible way earn a scholarship from the university while I'm studying there..?,Cause I've always proved myself in school and I'm very confidant about my abilities.

And just to clearify, there's alot more to the story, but that's not my point, my point is I no longer want to live nor be associated with the culture that I'm living in right now, and Yes I can study any major in here with a full scholarship due to my grades, but I don't want to waste any more time here, and thankfully I've my father's support.

I would really appreciate any valid information that would get me any closer to my goal.

Thank you for your time :)

I'll help with one question.

Generally speaking, scholarships are available to foreign students only at the Master's and PhD level. So you should expect that you will have to pay for your tuition and living expenses on your own. You will be allowed to work up to 20 hours per week off campus during your studies. Expect to make minimum wage only and it's also possible you may not be able to work the full 20 hours per week (either because your studies won't allow you or because your employer won't have enough hours to give you). So definitely do not rely on your part time work to fund your time in Canada. What you make part time most likely won't be enough to cover living expenses.

To be admitted to a university and approved for a study permit, you'll need to ensure that none of your individual IELTS scores is below 6.0 (i.e. individual scores in the four categories).

Thanks alot scylla.
I can't say I was surprised, but I'll do my best to make it happen.
And when it comes to the IELTS's sub-scores, I've already had every sub-score on band 6, except for speaking 6.5,
So I guess that won't be my biggest issues.
Thanks alot though, that was a pretty quick respond and I appreciate it..:)

In regard to your questions
1. You said you had a very high GPA in your high school while you scored 6 in IELTS, which means you need to work on your IELTS score as soon as possible, as far as I know most of the universities require minimum of 6.5 and 7.5 for some specific program.
2. Yes Scholarship is available even in undergraduate program if you had a really high GPA, in my university, get a GPA greater than or equal to 3.5 will make you eligible for 1700 per term.
3. Please be aware although tuition in Canada is cheaper than that in the States, you are going to pay 3 times as what a local pays, which will be a huge burden if you do not get your family's support.
4. Speaking of job demands, computer science and jobs related to medical is in high demand.

Thanks alot stefan

Yes, my GPA is very high ( I haven't converted it to out of 4 , but it's 99.4% out of 100%),and when it comes to English, I'm a native speaker and where I live there's very few who speaks the language, I'm very confidant that it's just a matter of time and I'll get at least 6.5, however I didn't quite get the third point that you've talked about , you said "You are going to pay 3 times as what a local pays", did you mean when it comes to taxes and living expenses or the tuition fees would be 3x more..?¡

Tuition fees are 3x more - not living expenses.

Well that just shock me to be honest, cuse I remember reading in an article that the avarge tuition fees are about 10,700 USD per year, are you sure that I might have to multiply that kind of number with 3 ..?
Sorry if I'm being annoying or so, but that just shock me
