Can’t visit my family since I will loose my PR...

I got my resident card in September 2016. Due to the financial problems of my parents I had to stay in my country and could not go to Canada again. My wife and boy are going to settle there in March 2019 so they can easily cumulate the two years to renew their card and they will stay in the country. But in my case I should go back to visit them given the fragile financial situation of my family that counts on me here. I do not have a choice. What do you recommend ? I take the risk of not being able to go to Canada even though the expiry date is in September 2021, if I come back to Canada after September 2019 they will surely withdraw my card. What can I do now? Send a letter to the government to explain my situation? I just need time to help my parents and then join my family again in Canada. Thank you a lot for your help.

What do you mean by that? No use sending a letter to the government explaining your situation unless you were taking care of your parents due to health issues back in your home country.

Confused? What about your family's finances in Canada. Could you not move to Canada and send money home. Financial reasons are not an acceptable reason not to meet your RO.

Nobody is preventing you to work in Canada. Job choice (just because it is better paid) is not considered a H&C reason.

Thank you very much for your time and your reply. I mean here if i come to canada during the limit of my PR but that i didnt complete 2 full years they wont let me renew my card and they may take it at the airport from me since i wont be eligible anymore to their program. What should I do ? I will surely lost my PR since I wont be able to stay 2 years in canada on 3. But would i be able to use it till the expiry date since i want to visit my wife and my kid on Montreal ? Thank you again for your time and help.

You can enter Canada any day before your pr card expires.i know people, who haven't lived a single day in first 5 years.came to Canada a month before their pr card was about to expire and then lived here for good 2 years to renew

I really hope your wife will be working. If your family is having financial problems and your wife applies for welfare she can't sponsor you.

That's because they didn't get caught. Plenty of other people get caught.

Either take your chances to come without reported or going through this process:
renounce your existing PR and have your wife (who is not on welfare and have a living to support herself and child) to sponsor you for a fresh PR. Your wife doesn't have to be working (contradicting to what the above poster said).

I mentioned working because the OP said he could not leave due to financial difficulty. If his family is in so much financial difficulty that he can't move to Canada with his family I assume that he likely will have difficulty supporting them from abroad.

It's financial difficulty of OP's parent. Perhaps the wife's finance is separate from her in laws and husband.
