Can’t link application to account!

hello!

Is anyone else having this issue? Cic emailed my spouse and I yesterday, specifically asking him to link his application to his online account within 7 days. I still haven’t been approved as a sponsor, could this be why he is unable to link his account? We’ve tried everything that was suggested, including leaving blanks and such but nothing is working.

If your spouse had visitor visa in the past where there were used old data he should try this. I tried over 25 times to link my app before calling CIC. The lady was nice and we started to confirm my data. They didn't make any sort of actualization in my case, all data were the old one (name, single, old passport etc). After I used my old data it worked.

YOu might be filling one in the last question where it ask about number of persons sponsored or some thing like that.You should fill 2 over there instead of 1 as it includes your spouse also.I hope you will find your application.

Hi can any body help me with this.

I made a mistake in the application form and my file is under processing. Medical is done and now they are asking for birth certificate. But issue is that i mentioned incorrect place of birth in the form and in the passport it's diffrnt. I will create the birth certificate as per passport and submit it. But mentioning incorrect place of birth in the form can create any issue or not. Can we correct the information in the form and send the form again to cic. Or i shud just submit my birth certificate as per passport and ignore the correction required in the form.

Please help me on this.

Yes he did reply for a visitors visa in the past. All info should be the same except for marital status I suppose? He wasn’t married when he applied for visitors visa. I’ll try that! Thank you

Nope, we tried that! At first we were putting 1 but then changed it shortly after. It’s the strangest thing.

try single, and put 2 for family members and enter your current passport number and other details... after several attempts this is what worked for us
