Cambridge IELTS Books, useful or not??

Hi

I found Cambridge Books 1-7 online and i was wondering is it useful to practice all the books or should i just practice with the latest versions?
Because it looks like that format has been changed a lot since old ones and i am not sure should i consult old books or not?? ???

Please advice, if somebody knows anything about it.

Practice IELTS 1,4,6 and 7 only

I did all the tests in these books and I would not recommend 1,2 since they are too difficult for the real tests.

Book no.3,4 is too easy. No.5,6,7,8,9 would be good and they are quite similar with the real test. I sit for IELTS 2 times (the last time was in 2012).

The pdf and audio version you can easily find them on the internet. I am not so sure about other countries, but in my country we dont restrict authority rights so we can download, now I am living in the UK and they block all websites which I can download books and it's so annoying. They even charge you to the ass when buying books. If it's the case for you, go to a library which you think they might have these.
