Hello,

How many years of skilled foreign work experience do you have? It must have been continuous, paid, full-time (or an equal amount in part-time), and in only one occupation.
What does this requirement mean, especially the "continuous" and "only one occupation" part? Does it mean that I have to work for one employer for continuous 3 years? Or is it possible to work 2 years at one employer and then, immediately after, 1 year at different employer?

Thanks in advance.

The 'continuous' part of the requirement is not having any breaks in between your employment.
And the only one occupation part of the requirement is to have your work under one NOC code.
You will only be eligible if you have a minimum of one year, full time, paid work experience in one occupation.
So 2 years with one employer and immediately after 1 year at another is fine assuming you were doing the same kind of work in either of the companies for at least a year.

I have a question about my own work experience.
My company used to give me full-time contracts lasting about 8 months each but i always get the next contract with starting date before the old contract expires.
for example, the first contact is from 2 aug 2010 to 1 april 2011. However, i got 2nd contract with everything same starting from 1st april 2011 to 31st dec 2011.

Is it considered a continuous employment in single NOC with same company and does it make me eligible to apply ?
