Calling wife over a visit visa while CEC application still under process

Hi all,

I was wondering if I can call my wife over (a visitor visa) while my CEC application is still under process. She is present in my application as an accompanying family member.

Its just that it has been more than 13 months since I applied for PR under CEC and more than 7 months since I got married (added wife to my application almost 6 months after I filed it) and I really want her to join me now.

Please note that I am currently on an post-grad work permit which will expire on in Sept this year and I am in the process of applying for LMO to get a new work permit.

Please suggest what would be the best option for me to call my wife over to join me while our CEC application is still under process.

I am in a similar situation and was just wondering if you applied for Visitor visa for your wife and was it approved.
