Calling parents from India

As Covid-19 is going on I want my parents to be here. They already have visitor visas and I am in Canada on my work permit.
What reason should I mention in the email sent to Ircc to obtain Authorization letter.

What reason do you think that it is necessary for them to come apart from COVID , keeping in mind they may not necessarily be authorised at POE to stay for an extended period and will need to ensure they are fully covered by travel insurance.

Only you really know why you need your parents to come to Canada for a visit so if you share same maybe someone can comment if reasonable or not. COVID alone might not be sufficient to overcome the non essential travel criteria but that’s just my view.

They don’t meet the travel restrictions. You must be a citizen or PR for you parents to qualify to travel to Canada at the moment. You can attempt to receive special permission but would asu e the chances of approval are not great. No harm in trying but don’t book any flights.
