got rprf, passport request and my bg shows in progress

Congrats Pav! That was pretty quick, I suppose the NOC also has a major role to play here :). I'm 4 months in and still waiting :)

thanks JB007,
can't say what they CIC is looking for, I think more than NOC its the visa officer's role.
CIC might have assigned new team for the recent applications who might have less burden of applications.
Anyways good luck with your application, hope to hear a good news from you :)

Anything new here ??

Hi All,
I have a query,
My fiance is applying under Express Entry

she has IELTS Score of 8 (Gen)
L 8.5
R 7.5
W 7.0
S 8.0

And evaluation from WES says her Degree has 4 years of Bachelor Equivalency in Canada

We are confused weather to take help of a consultant or file by self
Total points are: 435.

Please help. Seeking guidance and suggestions.

go ahead and do on your own without help of any agent/consultant.
They really don't help you, even after hiring them you have to prepare/collect all the documents yourself, they just tell you what you need that's it.
CIC instructions are very much clear and you can take help from people here in the forum, whenever you need.

Dear Indianaspirant & JB007,

Thanks for all your info !

I remember you all discussing and going ahead with the option of "2 or more Certificate" for One Year Graduate Study declared by WES.For MSc done after BSc, so wanted to confirm the same.

Thanks !!!

Well I did... It makes me nervous coz no one has clarified the doubt yet but it's a risk without which I wouldn't even have an ITA even in the draws after the one in which I Rcvd my ITA so i m fine... Keeping my fingers crossed

Dear Indianaspirant,

I am very much positive for u, since i am also part of same boat n selecting the same option.
I only request you to please let us know once u have received u r PR.

Well its worth taking the risk coz the scores would drop down too.

Cheers !!!

I'm also 4 months and counting.. indian but living in singapore at the moment.. not sure which VO my appl is assigned to..

thanx gantisunil86, i appreciate it and it will be my pleasure if and when i get my PPR i'll let everyone know and ease someone else's confusion for i know how i feel and have felt for the past months (anxious worried and what not) because of this ambiguity

39 days and counting :(

Its due to the backlog that's it,good things take time buddy.

Cheers !!!

There are few more DM and ppt in July thread. From their spreadsheet u can see about 30% of outlanders ( fsw) got ppl in less than 2 months. Good thing.
