So I called the IRCC officer because my EE profile is now over 8 months and no reply from them. So she said shes leaving a note on my application that its over the due date and needs to be sorted. I want to know is anyone in the same boat where they were told a note is left with their application. Does it fast pace ur profile's progress? How long does it take after this?

just means that note was put in your file to remind officer to review your application. Doesn’t really mean anything nor will it expedite your file. No one can tell you timelines.
