Called IRCC for application Decision

Hello folks, so I applied for SDS from India on Oct 19, Biometrics on Oct 26, and medical was passed on Oct 31

But till now (Dec 23) I've not received the application decision yet, I have my classes starting from Jan 8, and I submitted various webforms, in some of them I tried to provide as much data as I could, while others were to get the application decision, but clearly that didn't help yet

So, I called IRCC yesterday, explained the whole scenario, and the IRCC agent said he has flagged my application to the officer assigned, and that Primary VO will be contacting me soon, and he also saw that they might interview me, what does that mean?

Your are talking to a call centre so sometimes they give out misinformation. “Soon” can mean weeks or months. Not sure why an interview would be required for a study permit. Given holidays have begun then consider deferring. You would still need approval and get passport stamped before January 8.

I applied SDS Student permit on 23rd Dec , Got Application tramission message on 24th Dec after exactly 24 hours..When will i get my Biometric information letter??

You will get it soon, I got it around 3-4 hours after the application lodged
