I sent my portal 1 stuff off on Dec 21st, got Portal 2 on Jan 6th with no login credentials to actually upload the stuff I need to.

Honestly, the transition to fully online with IRCC has been such a mess- having a bunch of online portals but no effective way to deal with tech support.etc... is dumbfounding in this day and age. I've dealt with immigration in other countries and none are as slow/difficult to communicate with as IRCC is.

It’s a pain with ircc now, trying calling since morning but call not connecting

^ Oh, when I resent them, I didn't receive any mail from them again though. Still waiting for credentials (22nd Dec)

I have a travel in a week, but with the way things are I will have to postpone. I called IRCC almost about a 100 times to get them last week friday, I was told the case officer is yet to look into the review.

when calling IRCC what menu options did you use. I've tried about 20 times today to call but keep getting the call cut off because the queues are too big

Congrats. So you got eCOPR before your photo is accepted?

that’s weird coz if immigration is issuing visa then applicant is ready to travel . Otherwise they would delay in granting. My spouse got visa + landing paper nothing else . She is coming next week
I am copy pasting the response email from IRCC:

You have indicated that your Dependent (-------‐----------) is currently outside of Canada. Please see the attached Ready for Visa (RFV) letter and be sure to follow the instructions carefully.

It is important to note that the Principle Applicant (-----‐--------') must land in Canada as a Permanent Resident before the Dependent Spouse (--‐-------------------). If the Dependent Spouse tries to fly to Canada and land as a Permanent Resident before the Principle Applicant, there is a chance CBSA will seize their Passport at the airport.
