Happy to report I took my Citizenship Oath on Friday !

Officially a (dual) Canadian Citizen....
Almost exactly 8 months, to the day, that my application started processing.

Here's my final timeline

my timeline is :
- Application received 11 Oct 2017.
- Jan 10 letter sent to appear and write the citizenship test on February 13, 2018 at 10:00 AM.
- Gave citizenship test and interview and was told I am looking at 2-4 weeks for an invite to the Oath ceremony.

Any updates on DM from the Calgary office??? They were flying through applications for a while but feels like it has come to a hault according to the sheet and people on this thread. Anyone had their test done recently?? how long did it take to get DM? or did you get DM yet

I have been waiting for 11 weeks now. My status was changed to DM on Dec 20 2017 and since then nothing has happened. Calgary office seems to be working like a sloth. Also, I do not know why the hell this process is not combined with the test itself? What's the point in letting people wait who has passed the complied with every requirements. It is just adding cost to individuals.

If I was you I will call them and figure it out what going on with your file DM and wait for 11 weeks that too much and its insane. You should find your MP and wrote to him a letter

I called CIC and they said everything was fine. Yesterday, following your suggestions I have written to the MP. Let's see.
