Calgary citizenship office applicants

No news from me. I applied early September. No word from IRCC, been in process since early Feb. I am hopeful to at least sit the test this year. I live in the Mount Royal area of Calgary so say hi if you see me

I’m June 5, 2020 applicant and have heard nothing! My BG was completed on Feb 21, 2021

2020 March applicant, passed the test on July 2021. Then nothing after. No oath invite. We had to be voting in this election.

Something really weird is happening in the Calgary office IMO. If you'll look at the Citizenship trackers and compare how Calgary is doing against other offices, the lag is unreasonably huge. I wonder what might be causing it?

I agree.. it appears that they’re working on something completely different.. but I also noticed some that Jan 2020 applicants getting DMs in the past two weeks so maybe they’re just really slow! There’s no way of knowing tho, unfortunately!

Not really, only Background and Citizenship Test is complete. I can’t believe what is going on since 2020. Before pandemic there were people getting citizenship in like 3 MONTHS! This whole thing destroyed me mentally and I was so happy to get the test invite finally. After passing the test another torturing waiting game started. I have so much to say also nothing left. Election is coming and if we mail the MPs, that wouldn’t make anything faster right? I can’t even explain how tired I am. This whole thing is just so disappointing.

No I’m not probably. Passed the exam on July 3rd, official confirmation July 8th.

My tracker is stuck on Apr 23 update. @simons did his application online 10 days after me and is already done with everything. Dunno whats up with us paper application plebs.

I'm in the same boat as you and I think MPs won't be able to do anything at this time because the parliament has been resolved and they're not officially MPs any more
