I received my oath invitation for next month. I am wondering if it is safe (in the sense that it does not extend the process to another X years) to ask them to postpone it as I am currently scheduled to return to Calgary in late September. Worse case is that I shall return to Canada to complete the oath ceremony.

Hi guys, I am an October 2021 applicant, but then my application was returned in January 2022 because of my children's ID. Application sent back same January.
Test invite in May 2022, test updated in June 2022 and since then no movement except for test and BG completed.
My question is, any ideas on what my timeline or wait time for the oath ceremony would look like, please? Would they start counting from January 2022 or from October 2021 as per my first submission?
