Well it's free advice on am open forum so take it or leave it. And the "information" you are talking about is not consistent for every applicant, so it could save the disappointment but we all have the freedom of "choice" which is also an illusion but topic for another time.

I'm still waiting for my invite, but I have friends in Calgary who applied between Nov 2019 - Jan 2020 and just received their invites in the last 4 - 6 weeks. This is just conjecture, but it could suggest that we still have a long wait ahead of us, unless one gets approved for urgent application.

According to the track record, now November 2019 applicants are getting interview invitations. I am also a Calgary applicant(Family of 4, me my wife and 2 kids), I submitted my application in mid-December 2019, and recently completed the citizenship test(first week of May). now waiting for an interview or final decision. let's see.

Nope unfortunately.. I’m June 2020 Yyc applicant.. only BG check completed then radio silence..
