I hope so, ;
Same thing when I took my test few weeks back. While waiting to enter the room at around 9:45 (Test starts at 10:00) , we saw people from the 8:00 AM test session coming out of the room, so the estimated 100 test takers is nothing new I guess. In addition, I am not sure how many personnel there is for Citizenship in that office. I saw 4 who were in charge of the test and another crew of 4, each has their own booth/desk for the interview.
Also, for those who are at DM stage, I mean compared to all the processing and checking documents, how complicated is it to assign names to ceremonies?
Simply put, it is like you are organising a party and you are assigning your guest list to different tables, then sending those invitees a card (in our case an oath invitation letter).

Judges don't like to work overtime lol. But you're right, if all the work is done and all that's left is the oath, why not just do extra ceremonies for a bit and get rid of the October applications? Go back to normal when it's done :)

I am just worried now cox Calgary is quiet for a bit I dont know why before sending test why not clear the DM and finished with us

Calgary office looks like they decided to finish all pending applications ( tests and ceremonies ). Its the only reason why they have stooped sending test invitations out. Hopefully they finish this matter soon, because there are a lot of applicants who are waiting for the test like me. Good luck to all of us.

I am not sure that they decided to finish all pending applications (test and ceremonies) as you suggested, my reasoning is that since February 26, no one on this forum received an Oath invitation (not sure about test invitations). Maybe some people are receiving invitations and are not on this forum. The good news in my opinion, is that in April and May , there are few ceremonies scheduled and they will fill them hopefully with DMs pretty soon, hope we will be hearing good news soon.
Best of luck for everyone! We are almost there!

May be the person who's job is to do scheduling for test invites and oaths is on vacation! :)

I think the spreadsheet only represents a small sample 5%-10% (my estimate) of overall activity.

Hi guys relaaax! We are almost done with the process! We will get oath letter anytime now. They typically send the letter between 40-49 days before the oath. Assuming first available dates are April 21st and 27th I would say we'll most likely get the notice next week if not end of this one.

That's why I was saying that they are trying to finish the pending files before start dealing with apps waiting for the test. They usually don't do this number of events in 1 month, according to some member here said that 2 ceremonies were added yesterday to the schedule in April. We are just trying to understand what's going on at Calgary office. Good luck.

It looks like a joke when you read the first part of your comment, but honestly it could be true. May be he/she is on vacation. It's a governmental office :mad:.
I agree with you that the SS is a sample and I think it's less than 10% of the overall applicants around Canada but at least it gives you and idea about how things are being done there days at IRCC and it's local offices.

Good morning guys I just checked my online status it’s already DM Just in 2 days after writing my citizenship test Calgary

Good luck to you too! It's been over a week since my test and no oath invite yet. I think we will hear from them by tomorrow or next week.
