No more ecas updates after dm. The oath letter comes by mail!

We sent you a notice on February 20, 2018 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on March 16, 2018 at 9:00 AM.

No that is not correct. They are one more line will inform you that the sent the letter to came for Oath. Like the one line for test?Interview. So still Ecas need some update

I see a change in Citizenship Ceremonies schedule for Calgary, some more added in April and two on May 02, 2018. And I think this is added today on March 15th: HD Cartwright School.

Interesting! I hope that too .
In fact, looks things are moving in Calgary office, hope we will get invites soon. There were 2 ceremonies on April 13, one at 10:00 AM and one on 1:00 PM but I can't see them anymore, instead, there is one on the 21st and 2 on the 27th of April and 2 on May 4.
Let us hope to hear some good news pretty soon. The date doesn't matter to me as long as we get this long awaited invitation. (culmination of many many years of process, starting with the PR till now).

For Calgary, we have only one, Mr. Joe Woodard. So I guess the personal circumstances, availability, and vacation time etc plays an important role in scheduling the ceremonies. Hats off for the hard work!

I have sent my app on

the 13th of October 2017
Received on the 16th of October 2017

Till now. I have not received any email or mail regarding my app , and whenever I call them they say that they have a high volume of apps on October.

anybody have the same issue or it just me ??

any suggestions plz???

Hi SIMO1983, I have the same timeline, only difference is that I got my AOR in Nov, but nothing after that.
Could you tell me whats the process of getting in touch with the MP works?

I have tried calling several times and received the same response as yourself.

i dunno whats happening..passed the test on feb 20th. and still waiting...

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on October 16, 2017.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on October 30, 2017.
3. We started processing your application on November 25, 2017.
4. We sent you a notice on January 11, 2018 to appear and write the citizenship test on February 20, 2018 at 10:00 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

Same here,
I am wondering what's happening? No test invites, no Oath invites since February 26. Other offices like Vancouver, Ottawa and Mississauga are sending some oath invites.
We've been jinxed for being a fast office I guess .

Indeed ! Now we know why the Calgary office employees are busy.
I am not sure though if they are having the tests in a different room. I did the test around 4 weeks back in Room 210, and I would say the room doesn't fit more than 40 people to be at least 2 seats away from each others. Maybe your citizenship was in another venue?

How was the test. What did u score was it hard was it just like the book was it common knowledge. Read the book but going tru second time again

Totally make sense that they didn't send out more test invites. The office is swamped with applications
