So any news after that call.. She also told me that all my documents are complete and there is no need for any other additional documents I can see that the next test date in Calgary is March 06 hope i can make that one

Yup same here, I called them this morning as well, exact reply, the only difference is my file is not in process yet, but was told the same

IP since Jan 03, nothing so far. Called IRCC yesterday, unfortunately the lady was helpless and refused to give me any additional information I don't know. Said, my computer has same info you have on Ecas! OMG ..

Statistics come from Calgary office for Jan not as great as Dec when other offices were celebrating Christmas early.

"We sent you correspondence on February 6, 2018. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required." -

I got this in my e-casthis morning. Is that for Finger print?

Calgary Applicants: need your help and input

Hello Everyone,
I got hold of IRCC agent and asked about my citizenship application status. My application has been in process since Dec 19 2017. She told me that the application has been transferred to Calgary office and undergoing background check and awaiting test date finalization in Calgary. Wanted to know if someone in the group went thru same and what do they mean by background check. Also any idea how long is this process before i get test invite call. The test invite is thru call email or letter.

Background checks, Eh? that is frustrating.... So they make sure all background checks are done before they issue test dates.

Or background checks continue after the test as well? Does anyone know the process.

In Process Since Dec 8. However, I changed my address, that's why the file got transferred from Edmonton to Calgary [I called CIC and the agent told me this 3 days ago].
Let's see what comes in the mail.
I guess Calgary Office is very straightforward.

I called the call center this morning and was told the same. File still under background check and no body know how long it takes! Eh
And ya I saw some people here said that they passed the test but the oath was put on hold till background check done!!
Simply, you can't understand how these people work!

Ya I think changing address for sure delays your application but it depends on the communication between your old and new office.
Everybody here used to say that Calgary office one of the fastest but honestly not for last Jan, there was a significant drop in their work, May be some employees took their vacation in Jan. Hopefully they go back again for their good job during Feb and after.
Just do the FP when you first receive the letter to avoid further delays, good luck.

So honest question for Feb. 8th (today) test takers - how many grabbed a hotel or stayed with someone downtown? Sounds like more than just us did - we thought we were being a bit paranoid :)

What's going on with folks in Calgary?! Is there an average time for complete application?!
