Here’s my Timeline! Just a regular processing

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on November 6, 2017.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on January 16, 2018.
3. We started processing your application on February 22, 2018.
4. We sent you a notice on April 20, 2018 to appear and write the citizenship test on May 28, 2018 at 9:00 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.
5. We sent you a notice on April 24, 2018 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on May 28, 2018 at 1:30 PM. The notice you will receive will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us

WOW CONGRATULATIONS. I'm glad another Kababayan will take the test and oath to be a Canadian Citizen.. MABUHAY!!!

I received test invite and oath on the same day may 28. I hope i pass the exam. Good luck to all guys!

May I ask, if you live far from Calgary. Usually people who lives remotely gets Test/Oath same day.

any test invites folks to those who were IP from Dec 2017 and January 2018?

I am from Calgary...IP since Jan 27 and no updates!!! Called CIC and was told background checks underway.. It's very frustrating but nothing much we can do!

Hello everyone!!!!

My journey for the Canadian citizen has done by today after taken the oath at 10:30 am in Calgary. The ceremony was good and wonderful experience. Thank you so much for anyone here who help me with answers. I joined this forum on 2013 when I apply for my PR. in Vienna since then I meet couple who become my best friend in Canada and still went with me for my ceremony. Again thank you for your support. Good luck for everyone who was waiting. I believe we will all going to remmber these wondeful feeling. VIVA LA CANADA !!!!
