Hello, I have a question. 1560 hours calculation.
My first job , flexible part time, as 2nd lnaguage instructor for 1370 hours so far and still continuing (March 2018 - ). Lately, i got a second job also a 2nd language professor, that is full time, and already worked 300 hours (June 10 - ). So working both jobs right now.
Is it possible to claim both jobs for one year full time experience CEC ? No overlapping risk? Reference letters for all of them?

Thank you

There's a very specific way to calculate the 1 year of work experience required. You don't just need to have enough hours - but also enough weeks. In addition to the required hours, you also need to have at least 52 separate weeks where you worked at least 30 hours - or combined part time time equivalent. Here's how you do the calculation.

- For each week where you worked a minimum of 30 hours, count that as 1 week of work experience. (Doesn't matter if you worked 30 hours, 60 hours or 90 hours. It's still only counted as 1 week.)
- For each week where you worked fewer than 30 hours, add the hours together and then divide by 30.
- If the two totals above add up to 52 or more, you are good to go and say you have a full year of work experience.

Thank you for the clarification.

Since i have that full time job, i work part time jobs in evenings so average 8 hours a week. So no overlapping risk? Because i have heard of something like that before
