Calculating work experience.

I started my NOC B job in Jan 1, 2019 until Jan 15, 2020. After that I was in India for February 2020. and after that covid came and I was unemployed till May 2020. I started my job back on June 1, 2020. I just wanted to know when will my 2 years of work experience be completed so that I can enter that in my express entry profile. Thanks

You didn’t mention your hours. But even if it’s full time, since you got laid off a few months in 2020, so there is a gap. I don’t think you reached two years of full time work experience already. IRCC only counts 30 hours per week, anything beyond that is not considered.

- full-time at 1 job: 30 hours/week for 12 months = 1 year full-time (1,560 hours)
- have gained your work experience by working in Canada while under temporary resident status with authorization to work

Hello all,

Hope everyone are doing good. I need some information regarding the PR application.
I got my invitation in Jan'21. I have been working since March'19 - December'20 (the same timeline has been mentioned in the Express entry profile) and I got the invitation for the same. Due to coivd i was not able to work from April'20 - July'20 and also applied for CERB. Adding to this, I worked for less hours from febraury'20 - march'20 due to covid.

My full time working hours (with same employer)

March 2019 - January 2020
August'20-December'20

Should i mention this in my experience letter? My owner is willing to give me full time letter from march'19 - december'20.
