Calculating the poiunts based on IELTS score.

Hi,

I have read lot of threads and still not clear of how to calculate the EE score as per my actual IELTS score.

L - 7.5
R - 6
W - 6.5
S - 6

I am sure that i am in CLB7, and as per FSW14 calculation my score is 18.

I am not sure of how to calculate my score out of 136 (EE score).

Some formula would be great to calculate mine..(i am very sure lot of people around the world is not sure of this calcualtion).

convert your 4 IELTS band scores for each of the 4 components into CLB score separately.
out of a max of 34 for each component, u add the 4 parts together.
34x4 = 136 (max)

assuming u have no spouse, then yr points are 23+17+23+17 = 80/136

If 136 is the max, some scores are 140 in the spreadsheet

thats because some of them added on their points for french.

with just english, the absolute max is 136.

again, i am talking from the pov of a person without spouse.
