Hey,

I just got a printout of my time card, and I want to calculate my eligible hours. Should I start counting them from Sunday-Saturday or Monday-Sunday?

Thanks guys.

Count all your hours for all period of work (lets' say 12 months)
I want to make sure I don't count hours in excess of 30/week.

why cant you count 30 and plus hours a week? i applied under nursing and i had 45 hours weekly
A 45-hour work week is full-time week. You simply count full-time weeks.

they have clearly mentioned "For the Canadian Experience Class full-time equivalence, or 1,950 hours of paid employment over a period of at least of 12 months will also be considered." (from http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/op/op25-eng.pdf)

And even with the new rules (Since Jan 2, 2013) "Work experience must be acquired over a period of at least one year; work in excess of 30 hours per week over a shorter period cannot compensate for any shorter overall period of experience" (from http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/op/op25A-eng.pdf)

bdw, when did u start working?

1 year or the equivalent, assuming you applied under the post graduate stream. You would still need 52 weeks with 37.5 or more hours of work... Doesn't matter if it was one or two jobs.

please note that the definition of full time changed from "at least 37. 5 hours per week" to "at least 30 hours per week" on January 2, 2013. Your application will be evaluated under the rules in effect at the time you applied.
