Hello,
Thank you for helping on this before. I am just going to apply for citizenship and confused about one point.
I appeared in court as a refugee claimant on 16th June 2017 and my claim was approved .However, I got notice of decision on 11th July 2017.
Do I start calculating time from 16th June or 11th July. Please advise.
Thank you!
Use the date your letter of acceptance was signed. Use that date as your first day as a protected person, at least you will have a reference if IRCC asked.

There is no signing date. This is what it says:
"The claim was heard on June 16,2017.
The Refugee Protection division determines that the claimant is a convention refugee and therefore accepts the claim.
The transcript of the reasons for decision is attached.

11 July 2017"

no signing date mentioned.

Strange, mine has a signing date. The reason for acceptance come as a separate document and your acceptance letter is also a separate document ( named notice of decision). You may need to check all your paper again and search for a document named notice of decision.
