It's helpful. But it says, spouse's education will get 5 points. I knew that it has been replaced by Spouse's Language. Or i may be wrong.

the info available in the link is what government has proposed for 2013 applicants, so i guess you may be wrong. You should check once again i would say but beleieve me this is the final grid which will soon be published by CIC as well.

best of luck

You're 100% correct. Based on the information provided by CIC to date, spouse's education is going to be replaced by spouse's language.

If the spouse is not having previous education in Canada then his / her language proficiency will be considered and 5 points will be awarded.

BUT

If the spouse has previous Canadian education then 5 points will be given for that...

So spouse can score 5 points either having previous education in Canada or have language proficiency test.

But total adaptability points will remain 10 in any case

+1 for 13nitinsharma for this post... :)

Thanks

They should remove the Work Experience and Education categories. Clearly it irrelevant to flipping burgers, cleaning houses and floors. :D
