hey everyone, we called the visa office in Ottawa and they said our application was sent to Cairo visa office not too long ago! Finally heard good news, alhamdulelah. They also told me to email cairo visa office to ask about the status of my application, but I'm not sure which email to send it to! any ideas?!?!
hey what number did u call for ottawa?

I am 100% sure CPP-O does nothing. CPP-O might have had a role before; Things are different now according to CIC agent. At 1 point CPP-O used to help Cairo office but not any more, I can see that on my GCMS
CPP-O does nothing but hold your file

GSCM IS not always right for me but CPP-O requesting some documents and it showed in that caips and Cairo visa office requested . GSCM showed that CPP-O recommended or requested interview that what they said inside it and interview about some points
They interviewed me they did what CPP-O said according to the GCSM or what ever it called

You still argue and consider cases like yours. They are NOT and if I say I am sure 100% it means there is no doubt or speculations
CPP-O agent admitted to me they did not do anything as they were used to and they transfered the files to Cairo

im not argue but im not saying words just from phone calling with some agents of CPP-O just words
i knew what im saying because i been through what im saying it called experience not just words from some agent who all they care about just finishing the phone calling with peace make the client feel thats good answer no matter if its right or not
any way look at all the case that been through CPP-O you will find that after staying there for long they dont take long here in Egypt just few cases that might take more time in Cairo visa bcz medical bcz requesting more documents or finish security check or background check or receiving medical result or requesting new medical
why they keep the files in CPP-O and for what and if they keeping them them in CPP-O what do you think Cairo visa office will do then just getting paid that is it

I am a Canadian and married to an Egyptian from Cairo... it is the longest process in the world... We filed our application April 12.... it is almost a year now, and no word....... there is a spread sheet here that everyone has entered their information onto ( application date... approval... etc etc) you should check it out, very informative, and it will also give u a good idea how this journey will be time wise.

And welcome to the group!

I know that his application was received beggining of april and the medical was done before sending the file..so It was already expired...and by the way they extended the medical.. But didn't ask for the passport yet

I just received a massege from cairo office saying that they received our file from cpp-o and they will start processing it in order. What does that mean!! And they were doing for the last 12 month!! And how long should wait!!!
