since july 2012 I didn't hear anything from Cairo visa Office. even I do not know where is our file.
Nowadays I am in Cairo, can I visit the Canadian Embassy to ask about where is my file ????!!!!!
I am planning to go to the embassy next Monday 31.12.2012.
anyone have any idea of how can I ask about our file ??? or what they reply to me if I ask about our file ??what things that should I carry with me ???

your file should be in the ottawa pilot visa office.. and they are very slow

I don't think they allow in person queries, it would be more useful if u send them a case specific query, but in general u r within the normal processing time "14 months", so even the case specific query might not get answered.

Yes they respond after I asking them through case specific email

We have tried to pay the application fee with a Canadian Visa/Debit card, but was not accepted, even with the account having more than the sufficient funds available. Did anyone experience this problem or know if they accept this type of payment? Please let us know asap. We are living in Egypt and have our file ready to send and just waiting on the payment to go through. Thank you in advance.

Try to use a credit card not a debit card.
